Maximum Security?

The  Ultimate Real Estate Investing Podcast

A few years back I received a call from a seller
that REALLY needed to get rid of her house.  She was defiantly motivated!

When talking to her about her situation she mentioned that
her husband was in jail and they've run out of money and needed to
ASAP to get some cash.

I asked, what's the minimum cash she'd take for the property
and she said $48K.  When pulling comparable sales the property
was worth roughly $160K retail.

Boom Baby!!!  We got a deal!!

Well I dropped everything and got to the property as fast as
humanly possible.

I got the contract for $48K but here came the hard part,
I had to get the signature from the husband that was in jail...

Now what?

You got it, I told the seller that I would get it taken care of
(Just a side note, the sellers weren't speaking.  She
hated her husband and was disgusted that he got thrown in jail.)

Yikes ;(

So I made my way to the Arizona State Prison where I had to
go through and full body scan, got padded down and had to empty
empty all my pockets, take off my shoes and belt.

When I walked into the visitors center and saw all the inmates speaking to their guest through 5 inch bullet proof glass, it was pretty intimidating say the least.

We to make a long story short, I got the contract signed and got out of there as fast as I could.

Wheeew…

Now as an inmate the majority of your freedom is taken away.

You can't go where you want to go.
You can't go on vacation if you want.
You have to eat when your told to eat.
You have to be at a certain place when your told you have to be there.
You're limited to the amount of money you can have.
You're literally chained to your cell.
The future looks dim…

That is call maximum security and we do everything in our power
to avoid this situation don't we?

Now the amazing thing is that most folks are inmates to their JOBS
wouldn't you agree?

Let's look at the similarities for a second,

You can't go where you want to go.
You can't go on vacation if you want.
You have to eat when your told to eat.
You have to be at a certain place when your told you have to be there.
You're limited to the amount of money you can have.
You're literally chained to your cell.
The future looks dim…

People are stuck in a crummy job that is taking the majority
of their freedom away.

And what are they trading this freedom for?

Security, well maximum security to be exact.

What if I told you that there is no such thing as security.

How many people do you know that got laid off, or downsized
or let go for one reason or the other.

Lots right?

Well, the only security is cash in the bank…and lots of it.

The fastest and easiest way to generate cash flow around your
job is flipping houses in your spare time.

If you don't have spare time, make spare time.  It's worth your while, I promise you.

Wholesaling houses can give you the freedom
we all strive for plus allow you to live an amazing lifestyle.

In July I took the whole month off.  I went to my beach house
in Dana Point CA.  We went to the beach, played tennis, went shopping and had a blast.  My business continued to grow and money continued to come in.

What a great thing.

We'll if you're sick of being an inmate and you want
to control your own future, than now is the time
to take action.

…it's not rocket science but it takes hard work
